Eating & Drinking
We serve good, fresh, simple food everyday at the Lamb & Lion Inn. Our Steak & Kidney suet pudding is a delight and we are known for our fine Fish & Chips too! Vegetarians are well catered for with Emma, our proprietor, creating her own favourite Veggie dishes. Our Soup & Sandwich menu is available at lunchtimes and we do our special Sharing Platters (Cheese, Meat or Fish) from Monday to Saturday. In addition to our main menu we also have a market specials card. Please note that we also serve breakfast everyday from 7.30am.
When the weather is good the Lion Bar Outdoor Grill opens in the garden (our BBQ Sardines with Olive Oil, Lemon & Garlic Rub will have you coming back for more!).
We have a fine selection of ever changing real ales and stouts, continental lagers, wines and Champagne both inside the Inn and at our well stocked Lion Bar in the garden.
